Used as roof light panels to bring natural daylight into factories, warehouses, and industrial buildings.
Suitable for warehouse roof lighting areas where daylight, durability, and weather protection are required.
Helps improve indoor visibility in production areas while reducing dependency on artificial lighting during daytime.
Ideal for pre-engineered building roofing systems, skylight panels, and wall light applications.
Used in commercial spaces, showrooms, and business buildings for daylight roofing and architectural lighting.
Suitable for side wall light panels that improve natural illumination inside industrial and commercial structures.
Provides lightweight, durable, and weather-resistant covering for entrances, pathways, and outdoor walkways.
Useful for farm buildings, greenhouses, storage sheds, and agro-industrial facilities requiring natural light.
Embossed polycarbonate sheets have a textured or corrugated surface profile typically produced to match standard metal roofing sheet profiles for direct integration into industrial and agricultural roofs. They provide 40% to 72% light transmission, diffusing and softening the light as it passes through the material. Solid compact sheets have a smooth, flat or lightly profiled surface and provide 40% to 90% light transmission delivering higher and more uniform light levels. Compact sheets are commonly used where higher daylight intensity is required, or in architectural applications where a cleaner, flatter profile is preferred.
Clear polycarbonate sheets provide maximum light transmission allowing the full available light transmission range of the sheet type to pass through with minimal colour filtering. Bronze (tinted) sheets reduce light transmission and add a warm tonal filter useful for applications where direct glare is a concern, where solar heat gain needs to be moderated, or where an architectural tinted appearance is preferred. For most industrial and warehouse daylighting applications, clear is the standard choice; bronze is commonly used in commercial, retail, and institutional applications where glare control or aesthetics are higher priorities.
Alfaa PEB Alfa-Lexan polycarbonate sheets are available in custom widths and lengths up to 6 metres. Width is specified to match your roofing module width or the desired strip light width within the roof bay typically coordinated with purlin spacing and the metal sheet profile being used. Length is specified to suit your roof bay dimension, with allowance for correct end lap overlap. Our team will advise on the appropriate width, length, and lap detailing for your specific roof profile and purlin layout.
Yes. Alfa-Lexan polycarbonate sheets include a UV-stabilised co-extruded coating on the outward-facing surface that protects the core material from UV degradation preventing yellowing, loss of light transmission, and surface brittleness that affect uncoated polycarbonate over time in outdoor exposure. Correct installation with the UV-coated face positioned outward (toward the sky) is essential to activate this protection. Our installation guidance confirms the correct orientation and covers fixing, lapping, and sealant requirements to maintain weathertightness and UV performance throughout the product's service life.
Yes this is the standard application for Alfaa PEB polycarbonate strip lights. Embossed sheets are profiled to match standard corrugated and trapezoidal metal roof sheet profiles fitting directly into the roof plane alongside metal sheets without additional framing or adaptation. Custom widths are produced to match the specific module width of your roofing system, ensuring correct purlin alignment and weathertight lap detailing. When polycarbonate sheets are specified as part of a new Alfaa PEB PEB or roofing project, dimensions are coordinated with the building design for seamless integration from the outset.
